Story of Saint Albertus Trapani (1250-1307)

In 1250 at the City of Trapani, Sicily Island, Italy, Albert was born after 26 years, Benedict de Abbati and Joana de Salzi pleaded with the mediation of the Virgin Mary for gifted children as he promised to bring back to God, if the request was granted. At the age of eight years, Albert had an arranged marriage with a daughter. However, Albert refused. As a child, he was fascinated by the love of God is so great. In 1264, he entered the Carmelite Order and receive a robe monastery. All the treasure he had, he gave to the poor.
His life began in the monastery. He wrote numerous scientific books and faith. He also made a tight dead body. Nevertheless, he remained humble. When he was asked to prepare himself for ordination to the priesthood, he said, "A priest must be holy, while I was a great sinner. A priest should be like the sun that enlightens someone else, while my soul so weak, so it needs a strong help. "
But, God had chosen him to become a priest. So, he was ordained by Archbishop Messina. Several years later, he was appointed provincial though he felt unworthy.

At the age of 57 years, he resigned as provincial and retreated to a monastery-like pile of rubble by the war.
